Schneider carved into both sides
of this door, creating figurative
images upon images. He calls the
piece Rocking Hand because “It’s
about everybody’s hand and the
way they deal with the world
and its limited supply. In fact, it’s
in your hands — make the most
of it!”
His goal is to always combine art
with craft, inviting viewers to
interact with his work hands-on,
making it a personal experience.
This door is designed to be used
every day.
