Zastawney was so captivated by the
theme and purpose of the Transformed
Doors Auction that she
begged to donate a door just a week
before the event.
Painted in acrylic with metallic river
rock, Zastawney depicts a brick
wall with the oft-overlooked rain
gutter and imbues it with new
meaning.
Zastawney is a graphics designer
for the Detroit News.
